What We Do:
In any manufacturing process valves are used to control the actuation (usually cylinders) on most processes. The majority of these valves are pneumatic (compressed air powered). When higher pressure is needed most users will turn to hydraulics (liquid powered). All OEM’s will specify approximately how many cycles a valve or other product will handle before it should be serviced.
This is where the SAFE Air Valve Company fits into the picture. When a manufacturer has ‘down-time’, they are losing potential revenue. In most cases a manufacturer will have spare parts to get them running again. If not, they contact the SAFE Air Valve Company and we do the repair on their item and get it back to them in a timely manner. In many instances the repair is critical and we will get it back overnight.
One particular valve that needs mentioning here is the dual-inline clutch-brake valve (see below). Our valves are OSHA required as safety valves on all metal press stamping operations, such as:

When one of these valves fails, an entire assembly line can be idled. Here at SAFE Air Valve, we will service these units and (depending on the user’s needs) will get them back to the user as quickly as in a few hours.
Our Repair Process:
Once we receive valves or cylinders from a manufacturer, distributor or end user, a thorough evaluation is performed and a price quote is sent by fax, e-mail, or called in to the customer. No actual repairs are performed until we get approval (a purchase order) from the customer. The product is then completely torn down (no exceptions), thoroughly cleaned in a soap and water based parts washer.
We then proceed with the complete overhaul from top to bottom. Once we are satisfied with the work, we give the unit a simulated production test. Our specifications for testing are very stringent. If we are not satisfied, we do it over. When the item passes its test we code the product so we know who did the work and when. We then package it up and ship it out according to customer’s previous specifications.
All work is guaranteed for one year. We are fully insured regarding product liability – details available upon request.
